On October 7, The Washington Post reported, citing two anonymous sources, that the administration was developing a temporary pathway for certain peptides through some compounding pharmacies. Timing and covered peptides were unspecified. In our October 8 checks of FDA, HHS and Federal Register records, we found no announcement implementing the plan and no matching new rule. The published 503A bulks list, current through October 6, does not include BPC-157 or TB-500. Later development: on October 14, an HHS/FDA interim peptide compounding policy reached White House review; see our Oct 15 OIRA flash. Report: The Washington Post, October 7.
